A great proposal. Given that the wise man does at once what the fool does finally, when do you think the profession might do it?


Thanks. It's dispiriting to conclude that the participants in Big Audit lack the vision and the commitment for this complex but necessary idea -- perhaps only, in Churchill's description of the eventual change in American policy toward German aggression ahead of WW II - "they'll do the right thing, after trying everything else."
