Released today, by Riverhead Books -- "The Data Detective" -- so titled in its American edition, the latest book from Financial Times economist Tim Harford.
Here in the United States it is Groundhog Day. As a Brit, Harford might not appreciate my sense of deja vu. Not quite two months ago, I had written a review of the earlier version, released last May in the UK by Little Brown under the title "How to Make the World Add Up."
As an unambiguous fan of Harford's ability to bring both clarity and entertainment to the challenges in wrestling with quantitative information, I re-publish it here for interested US readers, under the new title so as to be relieve any confusion, mis-direction or concerns about finding it.
Enjoy. I did.
